Change Requires Energy

It must be noted that change does not occur without energy. Energy, which is the potential for work (change), is required for and present in all forms of change. Accordingly, the more energy that is present in a system, the greater capacity for change overall. Energy—be it physical, mental, social, or ecological—is an essential catalyst for initiating and sustaining change.
