Who: All circle members

What: A short check-in to communicate current SPIRAL phase and any notable pivots, insights or obstacles encountered so far

Why: Keep circles transparently connected and agile

Learning Party

(30min - 1hr)

When: Aligned with SPIRAL cadence; Ideally conducted in an order that allows information to cascade from nodes to circles to broader circles (bottom-up)

Who: All circle members

What: A celebration of completing a SPIRAL a show & tell of learnings, and a formal venue for circle feedback

Why: Celebrate “success” and "failure" equally, distribute insights

Orientation

(30min - 1hr)

When: Following Learning Party; Aligned with SPIRAL cadence; Ideally conducted in an order that allows information to cascade from broader circles to narrower circles to nodes (top-down)

Who: All circle members

What: Collective coordination of the SPIRAL S (Set Direction and Goals) at the circle level, integrating insights from the Learning Party. Circles may be modified or created

Why: Transparent alignment of circles aids planning and decision making at all levels

Integration

When: Semi-frequently

Who: Circle representatives of 2 or more circles

What: Cross-circle flow building

Why: Strengthen cross-domain awareness, learnings, and flows between circles
